Sergio is Brazilian, with experience in Telecom and Energy industries. He started his career in Brazil in Ericsson, moved to IBM and later on to Halliburton. He's lived in Sweden, Norway and now works in Vaisala in Finland as project manager for worldwide customers. He holds CAPM and Agile certifications and the reason to join the Finnish chapter was to collaborate and engage colleagues to learn and develop their career as PM, share experiences and build new network.

With a robust background spanning a decade in project management across diverse organizational landscapes, bolstered by academic achievements including an MBA, a Master's in eGovernance and Public Sector Innovation, and another Master's in Public and International Affairs, Tam brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Director of Governance and Policy at PMI Finland Chapter. Serving as both the secretary and director within the chapter, Tam is resolute in her commitment to steering the organization towards the pinnacle of governance excellence and seamless policy implementation, underscored by her ICSA certification, which reflects her steadfast dedication to upholding the highest standards of corporate governance.
Throughout her illustrious career, Tam has been a driving force behind numerous successful projects, adeptly leveraging her multidisciplinary background to navigate intricate challenges and culturally diverse work environments with a nuanced understanding of cultural intelligence. Fueled by an unwavering passion for eGovernance and public sector innovation, Tam is deeply committed to advancing PMI's mission and culture values at the Finland chapter. With a sharp eye for global affairs and emerging trends, she endeavors to ensure that PMI maintains its leadership position at the forefront of project management best practices, consistently striving for excellence. Tam's educational journey cuts across various countries including Nigeria, Belgium, Germany, Tallinn, and the USA, providing her with a rich and diverse perspective. Currently residing in Estonia, Tam's global experiences and steadfast dedication to advancing project management underscore her commitment to shaping a brighter future for the profession.
